Therapy Dog Training - Ages 6 months & older (Lincoln)
Is your goal to have your dog become a therapy dog? This specially designed 8-lesson course prepares you and your dog for their therapy dog testing and certification. Many of our clients easily pass their therapy dog certification after our training program. Includes 20ft long line, e-collar and e-collar training! We can test and certify through AKC Canine Good Citizen or Therapy Dogs United.
8 Private Lessons at our facility. We will work on the basics:
-Name Recognition
-Sit and Extended Sit
-Down and Extended Down
-Loose Leash Walking
-Come on Command
-Place and Extended Place
-No and Off (stop barking/jumping)
PLUS:
-Polite greetings
-Permitting body handling
-Loose leash walking through a crowd
-Non-reaction to dogs
-Non-reaction to distractions
-Ability to handle supervised separation.
